JEFF JUBA is a native of Pueblo Colorado and a 1979 graduate of East High School. He is married, has 2 children, and is self taught in the art of oil painting. He loved to draw and cartoon as a child, and began painting in December of 1977.
Though painting for many years as a hobby, he participated in his first art show in November 2003 at the Life Care Center's "An Art Show to Remember." He has also been a participant in Pueblo Bank and Trust's "Art at Christmas", the KTSC Pueblo TV Art Auction, and is the studio artist for the Sarah Shaw Dance Studio.
"I have painted many different subjects, some upon request from the buyer. Some examples of these are a toy horse, a farm house, an antique truck, or a backyard gazebo. Getting to know people and doing something that might end up a family heirloom are my favorite parts of the painting process. I am constantly learning and trying different things to improve my ability, and to give my artwork depth and realism."
His work hangs in many private collections, and can also be viewed at Patti's Restaurant, the Club Manor Clinic, or by appointment at (719) 546-2261 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
