|Joe Adamich is a Colorado native and a graduate of the University of Southern Colorado and Colorado College. His work displays a wide range of style that is distinctly his own. His collection of watercolors, oils and pastels show a broad spectrum, from southwest and local imagery, still life and impressions from his travels, to his whimsical portrayals of dogs. All of his work is influenced by his appreciation of the beauty of our southwest area. Many of his cityscapes convey the moods of the four seasons, especially his winter snow and spring rain scenes. |
He has been a regular guest and contributor to the Sangre de Cristo Arts Center Own Your Own Art Show, KTSC Public TV Art Auction, The Chocolate Indulgence Benefit Auction, Pueblo Bank & Trust Art At Christmas, and a number of other exhibitions.
His work has been shown in many Juried exhibitions, most notably the Colorado State Fair Fine Arts Exhibit, where he won an Honorable Mention, Artist in Colorado Exhibition where he was the winner of the Clarence Durham Memorial Award, and the Aquarius Show 2007, Best of Show, by the Southern Colorado Water Color Society.
He is a member of the Colorado Watercolor Society, and a Signature member of the Southern Colorado Watercolor Society.
