"My teaching experiences have influenced my painting and kept me highly motivated, creative and challenged. I love to paint, which is my first passion, but I am also expanding my painting techniques to computer graphics. Since I've moved to Georgia, I live closer to nature, which has brought me back in touch with the beauty of the landscape.
My exploration of space, color and light has manifested into this series of paintings. Each painting contains a mystery or abstraction of real life forms to be viewed as a metaphor for natural elements and forces, such as water, earth, wind, fire and sky. Each painting also conveys a particular emotion or sensation created by the color scheme. The compositions evoke a tension between open and closed space and the colors and shapes work together to suggest the essence of a moment captured in time."
